Pack up, roll out. Last day on the bike.

We stop for a fried breakfast at a café in Ardgay, a kilometre or so across Bonar Bridge's bridge. It's huge, and very salty. Instant coffee should be wiped off the face of the planet.

We seem fairly convinced that the Nigg-Cromarty ferry is not yet running, so we stay on the west side of Cromarty Firth. We have to do a few spells on the A9, which is pretty miserable, but we also get off of it and along the waterside for spells too. There are several oil rigs in the water that seem to be in various states of decommissioning.

We go through Dingwall, where we grab a snack lunch. The sun is bright. We're guzzling water to dilute the breakfast bacon salt. We go back through Muir of Ord (of the mohican cyclist) and then track back into Inverness on the same road alongside the Beauly Firth that we rolled out on.
